Sonic Reducers

Started as 'Delgado' in September 2010. Sonic Reducers originally started with Daniel Cairney on Guitar and Vocals, Oliver Sibley on drums and Reagin Lowdon on bass. Shortly after, Oliver left and the band were joined by drummer Chris Roarty, who helped fuse their punk sound with elements of jazz, latin, reggae and more to eventually develop the unique sound of the band. From then on the band played numerous gigs and venues increasing in capacity until May 2011 when Reagin left. After a short bassist hunt, ex-bassist Reagin told the band about a friend at college who was looking to join a band... Heather Sneddon played her first gig with the band on the first practice. The band then took name-change in October 2011 and are still continuing. In July 2012, we released a free live EP we did with Sosyer Recordings which consists of 2 covers and 2 originals. One which won't be featured on our album. In August, we released our debut album which was produced by Rory Doherty from Glaswegian metal band "Colours To Shame".
