Donatella Canepa

Multi-instrumental musician, composer, and producer, Donatella Canepa was born in Genova, Italy. She grew up near this great Mediterranean port city that has sent out explorers to worlds known and unknown, with the centuries-old Lanterna lighthouse showing the way. There, her music was forged by this seafaring realm of ships and distant horizons, of wandering spirits and long sea routes. Influenced by such voyages and explorations, her rock and metal guitars blend and alternate with electronic and orchestral sounds to form cinematic music in a range of musical genres. Specializing in music for visual media, she has released several productions in collaboration with leading production music companies, including Soundiva and redCola.
