Forgotten Faces

Forgotten Faces is an American progressive death metal band from the central valley of California formed by brothers Cesar and Lucas Rivera in 2012. Their name comes from a favorite Avenged Sevenfold song of the group, entitled "Forgotten Faces".

The band comprises of guitarists Cesar Rivera II and Adan Gonzalez, drummer Lucas Rivera, bassist Jeremy Fatica, and pianist Hector Agredano.

Forgotten Faces released their first demo EP entitled "The Masquerade", on June 23rd, 2015.

Forgotten Faces began its inception in late 2012 with their original band lineup including vocalist Hector Agredano and bassist Ian Nova.

Forgotten Faces have been stated to perform a style of metal called melodic-death. The band's music makes use of the sound of melodic death-metal music in the vein of early Swedish melodic death metal bands such as At the Gates, In Flames, and Soilwork, but with a modern twist. Musical influences include The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse, Slipknot, Carnifex, Carcass, Vanna, and Lamb of God.

More recent endeavors have occurred in developing a more technical and musically complex sound, inspired by bands like The Faceless, Rings of Saturn, and Ne Obliviscaris.
