About Flight
There is more than one artist known as Flight. One is an instrumental hip-hop producer from the North East, UK, and the other is a progessive rock band from Stockholm, Sweden
1. Flight (real name Jakk Hawkins) started making dubstep under the name Burnt Fingers in early January 2008. After a few rare EPs, called Cold Hands and Shit Robot, Jakk decided to turn Burnt Fingers into, what he calls, the listener friendly side of electronic music. Burnt Fingers started to release trip-hop, acid jazz, and instrumental hip-hop style music, taking a lot of influence from the labels: Ninja Tune and elefant traks. In June 2008 he released his debut album, on the XOR Music, UK label, called Burnt Fingers. The album featured 9 tracks: 7 original Burnt Fingers songs, a Doxepi remix of the Burnt Fingers track “Bedtime Stories” and an exclusive bonus track by one of Jakk Hawkins’ older projects Little Sound, this track is called “Give Me a Reason”. After releasing his first full length album and a single called "Sketvh" Burnt Fingers decided to change the name of his project to Flight. Flight is now happily working away on his new album which is predicted for release on XOR Music, UK in late 2008, or early 2009. Check the official XOR Music website for updates - www.xormusic.t83.net
2.Flight is currently involving Joel, Leo, Viktor and Einar from Stockholm, Sweden.
