Dead Cowboy's Sluts

Dead Cowboy's Sluts is a metal band from Paris formed in 2010. The group consists of five members, the two brothers Benjamin Leclerc (vocals) and Mathieu Leclerc (Guitar), Pierre Plathey (Guitar), Morgan Djinadou (Bass guitar) and Guillaume Thiébault (Drums). They recorded their first album at the studio St. Marthe in august 2011 called "The Hand Of Death", who's mostly influenced by bands like Slayer, Pantera, Lamb Of God as well as The Haunted. The band was signed right away on the french label M&O MUSIC for the release of their first CD in 2012, with a worldwide distribution and has made remarkable appearances by sharing the stage with bands like Cancer Bats, ETHS at the Bataclan, Ultra Vomit, Zuul FX, No Return... Their songs talk about serial killers, madness, religious and general extremists excesses. Both by the visual and the lyrics, this first opus is characterized by a large number of references from criminal cases, and the psychological analysis of those deviant behaviors, reflecting the need of the band to disrupt the established codes, and is subject to multiple interpretations. Standing out on stage by a high energy and very catchy shows, the band does not hesitate to use many visuals accurately representing the image he has built around his music, with the help of several screens and photos to establish a real atmosphere in each of his appearances. If today's metal scene is mostly represented by bands following the actual trend, Dead Cowboy's Sluts stands out by a music full of old school influences, offering a real and unique mixture of genres, a reminder of the music of the great metal bands of the 90s'.
