Coalmont

Based out of beautiful British Columbia, Canada, Coalmont is a husband + wife group who enjoy telling stories through song. In 2012, they released their debut album “Chronicles”. The album received much praise, including that from Juno Award winner Brian Doerksen who called it “the perfect combination of grit and smooth”. The duo continued to write and perform over the next few years, sharing the stage with a variety of artists, including Canadian Rock Legend Jerry Doucette, Jordan Klassen, Big John Bates and Iskwe. In 2014 Coalmont earned themselves a GMA Award for Country Song of the Year for their single “Under Stars” as well as three nominations in the Fraser Valley Music Awards. After the release of their second album entitled “The Hallowed Grey Vol.1” in 2017, the pair toured Western Canada and received two more GMA Nominations.
