The Beutons

It may have been something mystical and magnetic that drew Andrew and Trevor to the North coast of Cornwall or it may have been pure chance but in the cold harsh winter of 2010 at a poorly attended jam night in the seaside town of Perranporth the foundations for The Beutons were laid. Forged on their eclectic and nigh on identical musical tastes (Trev rates 'The Second Coming, Andy doesn't) they wrote songs influenced by their favourite bands from the 60's, by lots of bands from Liverpool, by country music, and even a little bit of reggae. Things came together when Dan joined on Guitar in early 2011 with his chiseled good looks and his magical fingers he gave The Beutons their sound. Darren was last man aboard, he plays the drums, very well may we add but we haven't figured out what he gets up to on Sundays yet! The lads will be spending this winter recording a debut EP with producer John Cornfield (Stone Roses, Muse, Supergrass) and this should surface in March 2013. In the meantime, the gigs continue and feet will be shuffled across the parish and beyond! The Beutons are musical magpies hovering over music's finest eras you never quite know what you'll find in their nest, but it will be shiny and it will delight!
