About Primes
Hailing from Falkirk, Primes are an energetic quartet who create infectious indie / pop / rock songs with powerful vocals, multi-part harmonies, a pounding, rhythmic bass section and catchy melodies.
The release of their debut EP titled Colour last year helped secure support from BBC Scotland, Amazing Radio, The Scotsman, The Sun, local publication The Falkirk Herald and numerous Spotify editorial playlists.
They’ve also been championed by the likes of Wigwam Radio, The Weekender Mag, by Jim Gellatly, Shell Zenner and Charlie Ashcroft on Amazing Radio and featured on BBC Scotland's Introducing Popped Out Playlist.
Live they’ve been touring across the UK relentlessly, performing at festivals like Party At The Palace, Vibration Festival, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, Eden Festival, ButeFest, Rewind Festival and have supported artists such as Red Rum Club, Vistas, Vintage Caravan Club and Reverend & The Makers frontman Jon McClure, Their busy live schedule has ensured a growing and loyal fanbase that enabled the group to regularly sell out their hometown shows.
