God Am

Hailing from Indianapolis Indiana, God Am has been around since the early part of the 2010s. Mastering their craft in perfecting their desired sound. In the beginning, while writing for the first album, it was only Cody Randall (vocalist) and Joe Linville (Guitarist). Cody was stepping up as both the drummer and vocalist for he writing and recording process. They were creating what seemed to be heavily influenced by bands such as Alice in Chains, Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, Godsmack and Soundgarden. Once in the studio they discovered the perfect match for there base soun which was Jake Linville. Shortly after the recording was finished for their first release, they were ready to make their next big step which was finding the perfect drummer. After a few failed but necessary auditions, will Grimes came in to the band and forever changed the direction of the sound once writing started back up. In 2015 they did a run-through Indiana for our lives shows and then it was right back to writing. The band had then on morphed into what is now more of a thrash metal progressive metal and even some elements of death metal type Style. The album phylactery of the decayed was then complete in April of 2018 and then released on Halloween day, October 31st 2018.
