I travelled all the way from Hamburg to Lille for the concert in this small but absolutely legendary venue. Without a doubt one of the best and most intense concert experiences I've ever had. Awesome concert, awesome crowd, such great and nice people I met before, during and after the show. Poppy is going to take off in a big way. And I'm ready and all in for it :D

Absolutely great show, despite the sweltering summer heat. The band, donning masks, gave everything they got. First, the support act, a local metalcore band called Ahna, was good. Had never heard of them before, but was pleasantly surprised. They got the crowd nicely warmed up (pun intended) for Poppy. Then a full hour of Poppy. Great, energetic show. She danced, sang, and growled. The crowd reciprocated. We were in the seating area above the ground floor, where there were also several families with young children (with headphones, which were also provided by the venue), which provided an excellent view. Loved it.

Good show overall.
The opener was just medicore at the best 2/5
Pvris (pronounced Paris) 5/5 sounded amazing, stage set was beautiful and was very interactive with the crowd. Instruments and vocals were in good balance for the show
Poppy - 3/5 was a decent show. The bands instruments were really over powering her vocals, even when she was screaming could barely hear her. Stage presences really wasn't there, didn't really interact with the crowd besides the pre-recorded video with things she said. Literally would just interject with say kansas city when it paused for the city name.
The crowd - what a wild bunch, was definitely a vibe show. Sorta a clut kinda following for Poppy. Wild as usual for the truman. Half the crowd left after Pvris. The headline came on and the crowd started a mashpit for most of it.
Recommendation - come for Pvris for sure, if you haven't seen Poppy. Would recommend seeing her once then it's up to you from there.

Poppy really knows how to set a vibe, create anticipation, and blow your socks off with banger after banger. I was smart enough to get a pit ticket because I knew people would be willing to actually mosh on this tour as so many songs on the set list are circle pit worthy. She pointed at me and asked me to help start the pit for "Bite your own Teeth". I happily obliged. I heard someone say "i feel so alive". Highlight of my year so far

Poppy was f#©∆°ng outstanding! We have seen her live 3 times now, and each time has been a different, yet amazing experience. We have been lucky enough to watch her grow into herself over the years, shed the weight of expectations, and burst forth, unapologetically, into such a demanding presence on stage. The hair flips were everything for me. She just exudes confidence now, and I love that for her.

This was the first time I’ve seen Poppy live and I loved every minute of it. She has incredible stage presence and her set list was epic. Her screams live are amazing. I upgraded to VIP and while I’m sad there was no m&g I was on the barricade and I got to see her super close. I also got to keep one of the drumsticks from the concert! It was unforgettable.

Poppy and her band were in top form. The show was excellent. The skits between songs were funny and thoughtful. I watched Poppy since her first video and love her so much. She is such a talented artist and I hope she makes it to Sydney soon. I love the fact I could live stream the concert since it wasn't coming here. The audience, Poppy and her band (Not to mention the direction and excellent camera work) made me feel as if I was there. The fact you can "Re-hire" the concert on demand is a great feature for veeps too. I'll be using it plenty of times in the future as I have done for other Poppy concerts. Great work!
Sincerely,
Tony

Poppy: They're All Around Us

I love Poppy so of course I had an incredible time. I went to both of the melbourne shows and I am even more of a fan after seeing her the 3rd time. Now it may be true that I love poppy so much that the majority of people around me think I am completely insane but I think you should go and see Poppy as soon as possible!

Whilst I knew of poppy mainly through VAN with the bad omens I have to say I had a great night. I think not knowing much about her music let me just enjoy it without any judgement. I have read a fair bit where she gets a hard time but I thought her show was awesome. She has just the right amount of cute to go with the crazy screaming and I have now found another artist to add to Spotify. Keep up the solid effort and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for next time your in Australia.

I love poppy!! I love that she doesn’t overdo her performances! She’s one of my favorite artists! Can’t wait to go to her next concert! It was an excellent performance! I wish it was a longer set, and also I wish she would have more light effects or other stage effects like AFI did. I understand she was an opener but I don’t understand why one opener had more effects than Poppy and KennyHoopla maybe because it was in the day their performances, anyways, the main reason I wanted to go to this concert was because I wanted to see Poppy live and she was amazing !

I was a bit disappointed considering Kenny Hoopla was on stage longer than Poppy was. I understand Poppy was an opening act, but she was upstaged by Kenny. She sounded great and she at least sang her two most popular songs. She was energetic and seems to be enjoying herself, but she wasn't on stage but maybe a total of 20-25 minutes. Would have definitely like to have seen her stay on longer than Kenny who put forth a full 30 minutes.

I've seen Poppy before so I knew it would be an amazing performance. It was brave to team up with Sullivan King and Avenged Sevenfold. Poppy wasn't the hardest band that night, but she definitely put on an epic show. It's fantastic seeing an artist grow and it's awesome being able to witness it live. I first found out about her through WWE and followed her rise to fame. I'll be watching for the next time they come around Boston.

The show and all the artists were great! Loved to see the wild all over the place Alt pop/Alt metal fusion that is Poppy! Sullivan King was a fun and somewhat unexpected rave of a time, love the fusion of dubstep with some metal/rock songs like Throne - bmth, We got the moves - EC and MHTATE - A Day to Remember! Should've been listening to them!
Only thing is this was SUCH an unusual lineup that didn't really transition smoothly from one artist to the next.
You got Dubstep/EDM DJ Sullivan King with some rock/metal songs thrown in and he played the guitar some & screamed a bit (wished for more of both). Then some cluster fuck (in a good way imp) of alt pop, nu metal, hyper pop, industrial and some hip hop esque beats with wild vocals and lyrics.
Then Avenged which was the most traditional hard rock/heavy metal band in general, with some heavy moments.
The crowd all around was DEAD for SK & Poppy which is unfortunate cause I liked both (went for Poppy tbh, seen AS 4 x now but there good). They both deserved a better crowd but maybe if on a different lineup. So many people were saying that was a bad lineup or "never heard of Poppy..now I know why... that was rough 😬.
Sucks to see it but I enjoy V.A.N. and the whole show!

This was both my first time seeing the artist and going to this venue. Poppy sounded amazing and the show was fun. Not really a big spectacle but still uniquely Poppy. Pvris and Pom Pom Squad really were perfect support acts giving the show a very consistent atmosphere and sound. The venue itself was nice. It's big enough to get a decent crowd in, the bar is reasonable and convenient, and I like the merch area being separated from the live area. I'll definitely attend shows there in the future and hope to see Poppy again as well

this was such a magical night. to be honest, it still feels so goddamn surreal that i actually saw this incredible woman live. the supporting acts (band of silver & witch fever) were fucking amazing too.
the merch was so different compared to the american tour, and the fact that they created a totally new set of merch for just six dates shows such a huge amount of hard work she and her team are willing to go through to make her fans have a good time.
i was actually late (i needed to be there at 18:50 to get seats) however the security team were so good with my family and i, and we got seats immediately.
in short, this was one of the best times of my life and i cannot say anything bad about this experience.
thank you poppy and i cannot wait to see you again (and hopefully ACTUALLY meet u this time, without the m&gs having to be cancelled) on your next tour

Soul rocked by Poppy's screaming. It was awesome and if only I was not burning to death in the Florida heat and could've gotten closer to the stage. The festival audience seemed to be a lot of older people who didn't really know her so the crowd was smaller than some of the other acts and they didn't have as much energy which is a SHAME as the show was great.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would without a doubt. My first time at the Newport Music Hall, and my partner's first concert in general; Everyone was so nice and accommodating + everything went by without any issues. ADA seating areas are also apparently always accessible (doesn't cost extra either) and they helped us with acquiring that as stated on their website. But even for places that weren't easily accessible, I was helped around with my wheelchair (I have a lighter, foldable portable kind that I took). Such a wonderful atmosphere overall; great night and show! It was all above and beyond my already high expectations, and I'd absolutely return if I ever got a chance. Forever giving big thanks to each of you that help make these opportunities come to fruition!

I loved this show. Great venue and a very friendly greeting from the man behind the bar. The venue was full, as a sold out show, but was not so rammed that it was uncomfortable. We managed to get a good spot near the stage. The support band Loathe were loud but the sound was good. I did not enjoy them that much overall, because I don’t like metal that much and get bored after a few songs. I did not have that problem with Poppy who I have been moderately obsessed with since coming across her on YouTube a couple of years back. Poppy was typically adorable and played a short but wonderful set of mostly more recent songs, those with a more rock orientated sound. New songs ‘Concrete’ and ‘I Disagree’ sounded like instant fan favourites. I very much enjoyed ‘Time is Up’ and ‘Where is My Microphone?’ especially as Poppy was able to locate her mic in time for the end of the song (spoiler alert: it was in her hand the whole time). It would have been nice to hear older classics such as ‘Bleach Blonde Baby’, ‘Lowlife’ and ‘Moshi Moshi’, but this was very much a rock set in warm up for a Reading festival appearance and some forthcoming support slots with Bring Me the Horizon. At the end of the show we all cleared off and the very friendly staff pointed us in the direction of a cash point so that my friend ‘Leafy’ could purchase me a T-shirt from the merch stall. It had Poppy’s face on it. Luckily she has a very nice face. We had a wonderful time. Also, the ticket price was very low compared to other shows I’ve been to. Great show, pretty sure all the Poppyseeds went home very happy.
