Charlie Healy

Coventry born Charlie Healy became a household name as ¼ of The X-Factor finalists boy band ‘The Risk’. Right from an early age Charlie had two career goals in mind either to become a professional footballer or a singer. After successfully being picked for trials for many major football clubs, Charlie decided that Music was pulling him and began to put steps in place to ensure that this is what he could do full time. Charlie quickly moved from performing at friends parties to performing at venues across his home town. Around this time Charlie became influenced by Craig David’s Born album and this inspired him to start writing and producing his own tracks. Charlie’s first taste of fame came when he auditioned for The X-Factor as part of a group ‘Harmony Hood’ after replacing one of the original members – the group successfully managed to get through to Judges Houses. In 2010 it was back to the X-Factor for Charlie this time as part of the group ‘Nu Status’ who made it through to Boot Camp. It was third time lucky for Charlie when he auditioned for The X-Factor as part of ‘The Keys’ who he had met at the previous year’s show, the proceeded straight through to Judges Houses where Charlie was asked by his mentor Tulisa to become a member of ‘The Risk’ who became X-Factor finalists joining the ‘Live Shows’. After leaving the X-Factor – The Risk broke the record for being the most booked act within 48 hours of leaving the show. The Risk then performed to sell out Arena crowds as part of ‘The X-Factor Live Tour’ and also supported Peter Andre on tour as well as embarking on a nationwide tour of venues in their own right. After a lot of consideration the members of ‘The Risk’ decided to pursue their own solo careers after a hectic 4 years together. Charlie has not rested since and has been performing alongside Marcus Collins on his UK tour and is now busy in the recording studio writing material and getting ready to work on his first solo single.
