Loved every minute of it. Great seats and loved the lineup. Me, mom and younger sister made a weekend out of it. We have been big fans of Nickelback and have been waiting for them to be on tour! Seeing Nickelback live has been on our missions and it finally happened. We live in San Antonio so we drove up to Houston to see them. I actually liked the Cythina outdoors venue better than the AT&T center here in San Antonio.

Best show of our lives. Nickelback brought it to the stage and put on one hell of a show. My daughter (17 at the time) held up a sign that read “ I ditched my 1st week of senior year just for Nickelback” and Chad called her up on stage to sing Rockstar with them. Made every single dream she has ever had come true that night. Thank you Nickelback for making her dream come true and putting on one hell of a show ❤️🤘

Nickelback's show was so much fun. They are just as good live as recorded. All the band members were engaged with the crowd, having fun, and just making it a really great experience. At this show, Nickelback had two opening acts, one of which was Brantley Gilbert. I've also been wanting to see BG live, so having both Nickelback and BG in one show was phenomenal. BG and his band were also fantastic entertainers. A whole bunch of talented folks doing what they love made for great vibes and a great time.
I'm not sure if this is to do with the bands or the venue, but my only main gripe about the whole evening was the sound balance - especially for both opening acts. I could hear the instruments wonderfully well. The vocals, on the other hand, were pretty well drowned out and hard to hear. For the opening acts I think I could make out 1/3 to 1/2 of the lyrics. I knew most of BG's songs, though, and could sing along with the music. Nickelback's sound balance was improved, but still not as great as I would have hoped - I could get about 3/4 of the lyrics. The crowd all sang along, though, so I was never lost.
As for the venue itself, this was my first time at Moody Center. It still felt new, but well organized. The crowds and lines seemed to move pretty well. They didn't seem to enforce their no vaping/smoking rules, though, as I could see and smell it happening all around me. As someone with allergies/asthma, this was disappointing, especially for an indoor venue in a smoke-free city.
Overall, it was a great night, and I'm so glad I saw this show!

About Nickelback
Nickelback is a canadian music group from Hanna, Alberta whose brand of radio friendly rock was helped early on in their career by 99.3 The Fox, a Vancouver based rock station that holds a competition each year for local bands to gain exposure. Nickelback was the winner in 1999. Other winners have included Matthew Good, Default, and Faber.
Founded by Chad Kroeger as a tribute band, Chad's brother Mike Kroeger (bass), cousin Ryan Vikedal (drums), and Ryan Peake (guitar) joined Nickelback while Chad began to write his own music. They recorded a demo album "Hesher" and toured over Canada. Their name is said to derive from Starbucks that Mike worked at, where he frequently had to give a nickel back as change.
In 2007 their singles "Leader of Men" and "Breathe" (from their fourth album, "The State") were received well, and this was reflected in national charts. Their next three albums ("Silver Side Up," "The Long Road," and "All The Right Reasons") all hit number one in the Canadian charts, with the latter also reaching number one in the United States. Also in Europe they've become famous. After their single "How You Remind Me" they climbed to position 2 in the national German charts; their international breakthrough was established.
In 2005, Daniel Adair became the new drummer after Ryan Vikedal left the band.
