Dies Irae (Official)

Dies Irae was borned in 1994 in the middle region of Mexico formed by JM DAH. In the beginning the band was working on a kind of Sad Doom Metal that was reflected on their first work called Ab Imo Pectore released by Reborn Recs in 1996, after that, the band was signed by Oz productions, their first album was called Etherial produced in 1998 bringing a stronger sound mixed with some death metal jazz fussion; the same year the band recorded a live show that was used for the home video (VHS) OZ LIVE. A split CD was appeared in 1999 with the legendary band Agony Lords who’s was signed by Oz productions also, re-releasing the EP UNIONS with the Ab Imo Pectore. In 2001 the band recorded their last album NAÏVE finishing their first era. The album was released in 2002 by the same label Oz offering a fresh technical death doom metal sound. After that the band the band split and JM Dah founded a band called: The ill over death; inviting the project to his friend Fernz. In January 2009 Jm Dahern and Fernz decide to return to the scene with Dies Irae with a new musical approach, Daniel HG joins to the proyect in the visual concepts and backing vocals, two years after that the band begin to record the new album Secret Veils of Passion, and is signed on Chaos Records officially, currently they are finishing this new production. The band is currently working on a new album will be released in 2015. Dies Irae is a Mexican Post Metal Band formed in 1994 and disbanded in 2002. A reunion was enacted in 2009 and the band is active at the moment.
