Crooked Earth

Crooked Earth is an alternative grunge band formed in 2011 by guitarist and singer, Scott Tracy and drummer Matt Zibanejadrad. Their former punk band, Grind, went through a number of bass players and after tiring of the troubles they caused, they decided to eliminate having a bass player all together and start a two piece band, with a new sound and a new name. With a more refined and experience sound, the new Crooked Earth was able to create cleaner, yet still heavy sounding music, heavily inspired by bands such as Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Incubus and Rush. After the duo felt pleased with the new sound they had created, they decided the two piece setup was slightly limiting. Then after experiencing even more troubles with bass players and content with the addition of a longtime friend Joey Hatheway, as a lead guitarist, they finally met Zac Prows. Convinced that these two will stay longtime members, Crooked Earth is a commanding four-piece band, with a powerful rhythm section, ripping solos, and perfect vocal harmonies fed by deep and dark lyrics that can only be experienced through live performances.
