Heading to a Stealing Gadsby show? Better bring your “A” game, because these guys always do. Officially formed in San Diego, CA, the band relocated to Rhode Island in the summer of 2011 and has quickly become a recognizable name in the local rock/metal scene. They have earned the respect of their peers, and made several great friends in the process. They have become known for their intense, high-energy stage presence, and always invite the crowd to join in on the head banging, hard-rocking fun. The songs are a creation of the wide range of musical influences of each of the band members, and the product is energetic hard rock with enough of a metal edge to satisfy fans of most genres. Bryan’s drums shake the earth with precise, yet wild, rhythms, while Ian’s bass lines are creative enough to demand the attention of anyone listening. Adam’s incredibly original leads and solos tug at the heartstrings of anyone listening, while Steve provides a wild, all over the place style of playing reminiscent of James and Kirk of Metallica. The two guitarists complement each other’s styles in ways that have been described as “Coheed and Cambria on steroids!” Jesse’s intense vocals bring only one word to mind: Power, and invite the listeners not only to appreciate, but participate in the songs. The end result is a band that fits into most rock/metal categories, and none at the same time.
