About transRelic

TRANSRELIC is an intense and unique look into the human psyche. Fearless musical experimentation mixed with strangely familiar accessibility make the debut album “traces too deep to see,” a refreshing composition in the current musical landscape. All the tracks were written and recorded by Stark Morrison in the confines of his own home studio, giving the album an intelligently raw feeling, closing the gap between artist and fan. Highly emotional and thoughtful lyrics dive deeply and unapologetically into themes of loss, self-destruction, uncertainty, then all the way to the recesses of utter insanity. Emerging from the bottom it surfaces for air to the powerful preservation abiding within personal strength. The subject matter flows alongside theatrical arrangements like a soundtrack to a movie. Divergent sensibilities of heavy and soft, light and dark, give a sonic balance and timeless longevity to the songs. The band tops off the intrigue of the music with imagery of grandiose mystique and a mindful controversial approach. Rock and Roll as a dangerous entity, creating followers and not just fans. transRelic’s lineup is not new to the music industry. Morrison has a combined experience in studio/live audio engineering, event promotions, concert and studio production, as well as composing music for TV and Film. Bannister, started as a session drummer at the mere age of 12 and also holds experience as a lighting technician. This lineup has quickly began to leave it's mark on the Dallas music scene with their third ever live performance at Trees in Dallas opening for Wayne Static of Static X April 23rd 2014. The vast experience, image, and approach of transRelic are sure to become a driving force in the Seattle music scene and beyond. An intense and unique look into the human psyche. transRelic's own brand of atmospheric metal showcases fearless musical experimentation mixed with a strangely familiar accessibility. Mixing elements of doom, industrial, ambient, nu-metal, and post-metal.
