Gravedancer is lovely fabulous funny guy. Big fan. Already wiped the second act from my brain. Nice voice. That's the best I can say. Shawn James has a VOICE that absolutely just does not come across on his records, has to be seen to be believed.

Absolutely amazing show had an awesome time. V.i.p experience well worth it show was out of this world had the pleasure of meeting shawn his wife and Sage stoked to see them and have a chat with them. quality people can't wait for next time

it was fantastic! Completely impressed by the simbiotic interplay of the group and the feeling it gives to the audience, including myself. A singer and group that is more than worth watching and getting carried away with the story and feeling of their music! I discovred Shawn James during COVID lockdown and i’m so gratefull for it. I really love his music. People like him makes the world a better place by playing music and that also applies to his instrumental group members. Thank you for making my world better 😊.

The show was awesome. They are all great musicians and there sound is powerful. Shawn have a great voice and I like is way of thinking. My girlfriend discover him about 5 years ago and we are big fans from this Day. That's are second time that we see them live. We also have been to Lac Megantic.

I really liked the venue other than the lack of parking, which isn’t the venue’ fault. But more importantly, the band was outstanding. Played a good mix of new and old, mellow and rockin’, and even some Shapeshifters stuff. And you could just tell the band was having an awesome time playing for everyone. Really enjoyable and a lot more chill than the Goatwhore and Cannibal Corpse shows I usually (and will continue to) frequent. Christian Lopez was really good, too. Wasn’t familiar with him before this show but definitely a fan now. Also apparently hotties like Shawn James and Christian Lopez because the placed was packed with 10’s. Best smelling show I’ve ever been to.

The venue was a small little club, with great seating and TV's displaying the show. Drinks and nice merchandise aplenty. After a nice opening band warmed everyone up for 45 minutes, the real show began. The performance was spectacular, you can really feel Shawn and EVERYONE in his crew putting it all into just the first show of the tour, he strives to make sure no city anywhere in the world gets a half-baked subpar experience. I will happily wait in line all over again when he comes back to my hometown some day!

Simplesmente a melhor experiência que já tive em um show. Shawn James e sua banda são simplesmente incríveis, a música é incrível, a presença é incrível e a simplicidade de cada um deles é incrível. Escuto Shawn James todos os dias no carro, em casa, no trabalho, enfim, esse show era muito importante pra mim, então eu botei na cabeça que eu também faria a minha parte para que eu pudesse viver o máximo desse momento. Durante o show, pouco mais da metade para frente, fui até próximo ao palco com a palheta do SJ que havia comprado no início do evento em mãos. Quando ele acabou de cantar, chamei por ele e disse: "vamos trocar as palhetas". Bicho, eu tenho comigo a palheta que ele tocou o show inteiro, ele trocou na hora!!! Após o término do show, ele apareceu no meio da galera e, ainda que todos se apertavam ao seu redor e "brigavam" por um espaço mais próximo, ele trocou ideia com todo mundo, distribuiu autógrafos e tirou fotos. Foi onde tirei essa foto que estou compartilhando. Sabe quando dizem "nunca conheça seus ídolos"? Pois é, não foi o caso aqui. As pessoas costumam dizer tal coisa, pois geralmente são personalidades diferentes enquanto nos holofotes e fora deles, mas Shawn James não. Shawn James cantor e Shawn James ser humano são exatamente a mesma pessoa. Foi um prazer conhecer esse cara e certamente o encontrarei sempre que ele voltar ao Brasil!

INCREÍBLE, puedo decir que Shawn James es mi artista favorito, adoro su música, sus letras, su voz Y tan sólo decir, sobre el concierto, qué Shawn es aún mil veces más increíble en persona, en directo, no deja indiferente y es una persona súper humilde y amable, si te estás planteando ir a un concierto suyo, no dudes en hacerlo.

Was extremely fun. Audience was a bit offputting by talking over the opening musician but that’s okay. Gravedancer was fantastic, very lively and funny and while I had never heard them before their voice was gorgeous. Shawn was, of course, so amazing. His changes to usual songs were so nice and he sounded even better live than recorded. Despite “getting over something” still his voice was very rounded and smooth as always and just so gorgeous. The band with him was also amazing, especially the violinist. He was also extremely friendly and funny himself. Concert was very lively and upbeat overall. Would love to see him again in the future!

The best show in my life! This guys are the best, not only because the performance, the incredible voice, the energy they share on the stage but because they were near to people before and after the show. They chat with everybody, take photos, all time with the smile on their faces. The were awesome!

The band has a great vibe and energy and knows how to pass this on to the public. Shawn was good in voice, Sage was really feeling the vibe of the music and they where selling it! So great to see them play, they have real love for music and eachother. They also take the time to connect with fans before and after the show. We had a great time!

Shawn James is a force! Not only can his music make you feel 15-41-99 all in one shot; but it allows you to lose yourself & find yourself in it's message. He brings along with him, a loving wife a dedicated band & an adorable pug to accomplish his journey of uniting us through vocals & gives us a piece of his soul each time. Thank-you for gracing SF with your presence once more 🙏!

It was an amazing experience. OMG he was so cool and really approachable he made everyone feel like family. Not to mention he totally blew the roof off. I would most definitely go and see his shows no matter how far I have to drive.

Hands down one of the best performance I've ever seen and I've been to alot. He was a genuine soul who read his audience and performed with more passion that I could have expected. It was a treasure to see him in such a small venue

Such an amazing show!! Loved the small venue. Shawn and his wife are such good people. My dog died yesterday, I almost didn’t make the show. Thankfully, I decided to go. They were both so kind and compassionate and let me get some lovin’ from their baby girl Peg. Can’t wait to see him again.

Shawn James was 1000% on point with his humility, amiability & vocals! A special shout out to his lovely wife Michelle 🙋‍♀️ & their adorable pugsy wugsy 🐶, who I would've kissed back btw if I would've been caught off guard! San Francisco 💖 You!!!

Shawn James rocked it last night he's got pure fire !!! I'm so glad I got to meet him ot was great. Wish he could have played a couple more songs I left after he played cause the other bands were not my type of cant wait for next tour

My earlobes already had his undivided attention, but I didn't plan on him winning over my heart... He is a genuine soul & approachable as can be; which adds 1000 layers to his emotive charisma! Special thanks to the staff at Cafe du Nord for assisting me & welcoming me at their establishment. Definitely, a memorable night 🤗!!!

I met him and his wife and pug outside the theater without even knowing it was him. they didn't open the doors till 7:00 and I passed by him and asked to pet the pug and went for a bite to eat after that. Even thought to myself "That guy kinda looked like Shawn James" lol great night.

I have been a fan for quite awhile but wondered how Shawn James would come across seeing him live as most bands cannot carry it. He not only carried it off but he was better than expected. I was able to hear small changes in some songs as you would expect in a live performance but it never took me out of the music or made me wish they would cut it shorter. Very tight sound. I look forward to seeing him again.
