Lucinda Matlock

Lucinda Matlock was officially formed summer/fall of 2011. However, the Vickers brothers, and intrepid lead guitarist, Matt Yantzer go back much further than 2011. Though initially rivals in high school battle of the bands', the trio found a new niche and passion for creating audacious rock n roll with thought-out lyrics in the summer of 2010. When front-man and emotional soul of the band, John Vickers discovered bassist, Michael Weid while surfing sunset cliffs at PLNU, he was recognized as the final piece of the puzzle. After some shows in the San Diego area, and a conference in Vegas during the Fall of '11, the band has begun to develop a unique character and personality--most currently embodied by the three tracks recorded in December/Jan. of '11/'12 and the latest song, "I will," recorded Jan. of '13.
