About Denver Evans
Denver Evans was born into Country music. His father, Randy Evans was the frontman of a local Country band around East Tennessee.
When Denver was twelve years old, he started learning to play the piano by ear, and by thirteen, he was performing with his father's band in local honky-tonks and nightclubs.
At the age of twenty-one, Denver went on the road, playing keyboard and singing harmony with various bands traveling and performing all across the country.
In 1997, Denver landed a job backing Curb Records recording artist, Trini Triggs. Trini had success with songs such as "Straight Tequila" and "Horse to Mexico". While Denver was playing keyboard for Trini, he performed at many well-known music venues, as well as, TNN's Prime Time Country television show.
Denver flew to Ecuador, South America in 2001 for the Armed Forces Entertainment. He performed for the United States Air Force as well as for the U.S. Ambassador to Ecuador at a private 4th of July celebration.
Over the past twelve years, Denver has toured with his own band, performing in nightclubs, honky-tonks, fairs, festivals and just about anywhere in between. He has opened shows for Montgomery-Gentry, Mark Chesnutt, Darryl Worley and The Bellamy Brothers.
Denver has been writing music just about as long as he has been performing. Now, he has recorded his very first single, "I'm In It To Win".
His self-penned song "I'm In It To Win" won The Akademia Music Award for Best Country Song - August 2013!
The Akademia Music Awards is based out of Beverly Hills, California. They are quoted as saying "Tight musicianship, crisp vocals and inspirational lyrics combine to make this pop country song a smash."
