About The Barmines

The Barmines, Leeds, go around the country sharing their noise to the masses. A "Bar Mine" is an anti tank landmine, in other words, an explosive and thats just what The Barmines are. If you have ever seen them live then you will agree. The Barmines, Leeds, go around the country sharing their noise to the masses. A "Bar Mine" is an anti tank landmine, in other words, an explosive and thats just what The Barmines are. If you have ever seen them live then you will agree. 2015 saw the boys go out on two UK tours, release their first single "These Days & Nights" which was closely followed by the release of the anthemic “Skys The Limit” and play a few festivals including Live at Leeds, Tramlines and Party In The Pines. 2016 they have sold out Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen and Headrow House, released “Reliance” which is being touted by some as their biggest tune to date and has been played on air world wide. They have played Leeds Fest, Isle Of Wight Fest and Tramlines amongst others and embark on a big Uk tour in September. “Causing a bit of a buzz" - BBC Introducing "Their track sounds like the live show is an absolute riot" - Radio X "If you are going to do indie rock, you should know your craft and The Barmines do" - Vibrations Magazine Leeds "A chaotic finale brings an end to an incredibly strong and impressive set, with everybody in the room in applause. Tonight has been a very prosperous and promising show for The Barmines, there’s no evidence that suggests any reasoning as to why these boys can’t be the next big thing"..... GigSlutz “The track holds a great blend of elements that make a good song, with immense emotion and feeling rushing throughout each note, similar to the likes of Catfish and The Bottlemen, if I may be so bold. All in all, the music accompanies the lyrics greatly, allowing it to be as fast-paced and aggressive as it wishes to be. ‘These Days and Nights’ refuses to take the foot off the gas at any point throughout the song, and it must be said it can be easily imagined being played live" - Gigslutz 'The Bar-mine-s' "Their track sounds like the live show is an absolute riot" - Radio X
