I've Got Gloria

Niagara Falls, Ontario may be better known for its tourism and as a honeymoon destination, but that’s all about to change with the release of I've Got Gloria’s radio debut single “When In London” from the band’s sophomore album Here We Are. Recorded at Cherry Beach Sound in Toronto (where Justin Bieber, Drake, Jonas Brothers, and Rush have previously recorded), “When In London” is the perfect balance of Pop and Rock that makes Here We Are one of the best albums of 2014. For those who are not familiar with I've Got Gloria, guitarist Antonio Cirillo and drummer Nick Plati have been playing together since their high school days. However, with the addition of guitarist/vocalist Jason Golden, bassist/vocalist Rick Moore and lead vocalist Matt Dell in 2013, the band really took shape and has since then become the unstoppable force we know and love today. With the new line up, I’ve Got Gloria spent most of 2013 working and recording their debut EP called Here We Are at One Ink Studios. The album combines new age pop with a rock influence and melodies that are so catchy fans instantly connect to the music. “We’ve been told that we remind people of so many different bands from popular punk bands, pop bands and even bands from the 90’s. Although something from the 90’s wasn’t our intention, it’s really cool to see people being able to connect our music with their favorite bands. It shows that we have versatility in our writing.” What really makes this band stand out is its interaction with the fans. The members of I’ve Got Gloria never put themselves above the fans and they know just how important having a close relationship with them really is. “We don’t want to be known as a band who doesn’t reach out to its fans, but at the same time we don’t want to just shake hands and kiss babies. We want to become genuine friends with them. If it wasn’t for the fans we wouldn’t be able to do what we love for a living. And we appreciate them for that.” 2014 is a big year for I’ve Got Gloria with a large North American tour in the works to promote When in London and Here We Are.
