Sativa Root

English: A world created from the darkness of ourselves, the homogeneous perfection of the nature and the consequent discrimination of our community. All that and more surrounds the Band Sativa Root and consequences their motivation to create their special kind of music. But not that bad attributes alone provokes the Trio to write such hypnotic sounds. With a pure and raw instrumental Doom, a fist full of Sludge Metal and spooky psychedelic parts they will put you in a head banging trance. From 2011 till 2014 they created a huge variety of songs in different styles to find an unique sound which fits perfectly to Sativa Root and their way of thinking. After a long way of transformation and band member changes they accomplished their old scheme with the "Sativa Root EP". From 2015 they began to redefine themselves and started with the "Dark Days EP" a new area of time. 2017 they released the single “Tabarnak” and also a album will follow this summer. In addition to that they played shows with Kylesa, Dopethrone, Weedeater, Bongzilla, Black Tusk, Red Fang, Naam, Toner Low, Planet of Zeus, Ufomammut, Conan, Black Rainbows and many more. They are also where part of the unique and awesome festivals: Lake on Fire 2015 (AT/Waldhausen) , Stick & Stoned 2014 (AT/Tirol) , Dome of Rock 2017 (AT/Salzburg) , Freak Valley 2017 (DE/Siegen), Navajo Calling 2016 (IT/Parma) German: Eine Welt kreiert und inspiriert durch die Dunkelheit unserer Selbst, der homogenen Perfektion der Natur und der konsequenten Diskriminierung unserer Gesellschaft. All dies umgibt die Band Sativa Root und ist Auslöser ihrer Motivation, Musik gestützt auf eben diese Themen zu komponieren. Doch nicht allein die Missgunst, welche in unserer Welt herrscht, ist der Antrieb dieses Trios für ihre hypnotisierenden Klänge. Mit ihrem unmissverständlichen instrumentalen Doom und einer handvoll Sludge Metal präsentieren sie sich also im Jahr 2015 komplett neu und verschwenden keine Zeit um uns mit ihren Klängen in Trance zu versetzen. Neben mystischen Kräften setzten die Jungs zwischen 2011 und 2014 auf eine hohe Quantität um schlussendlich einen auf sie zugeschneiderten und einzigartigen Sound zu entwickeln. Im Februar 2017 releasen Sativa Root die Single „Tabarnak“ und auch ein Album ist am gedeihen das noch diesen Sommer die Dunkelheit der Welt erblickt. Sativa Root durften schon zusammen mit namenhaften Bands, wie Kylesa, Dopethrone, Weedeater, Bongzilla, Black Tusk, Toner Low, Naam, Red Fang, Planet of Zeus, Ufomammut, Conan, Black Rainbows gemeinsam die Gehörgänge der Crowd penetrieren und waren Teil der etablierten und einzigartigen Festivals: Lake on Fire 2015 (AT/Waldhausen) , Stick & Stoned 2014 (AT/Tirol) , Dome of Rock 2017 (AT/Salzburg) , Freak Valley 2017 (DE/Siegen), Navajo Calling 2016 (IT/Parma) Austrian Instrumental Doomedelic Stoned Sludge Metal
