About Future Simple Project
Future Simple Project is an amalgamation of musical, movement and aerial artists. FSP features audio performers Raja Ananda & Mikey Fisher of the Family Moons Artist Collective, who are often joined by aerial fabric dancers and movement artists from Lunar Fire, Kaivalya and Cosmic Fire. Together they weave a visual sound scape intertwined with pretty melodies, complex rhythms, gripping bass lines and mystifying movement. Below is an excerpt of a review of FSP Live at the Crystalliazation festival in Denver, Colorado. Written by Nick Boeka of Jam Base: "...their style is a healthy mix of the new glitchy sounds taking hold in the electronica scene, adding flairs of dub and breaks. This duo is one to watch in the coming years, and I'm hoping that they can get on the road to start playing more clubs to infect more audiences with their sound. " Written by Tk Kayembe of Jam Base: FSP Live @ Unified Field Sonic Bloom preparty @ Cervantes, Denver CO April 25th 2009 "...Upon entering Cervantes' I was greeted with sublime sounds from Boulder natives Raja Ananda and Mikey Fisher's Future Simple Project. Spend a few minutes listening to these boys' music and it's crystal clear these guys understand dubstep. Cleverly flexing their expertise for the crowd to sweat it out on the floor, they kept their set tight and clean while twisting and tugging their audio with effects. Gentile melodies drenched in bass move their recordings, which typically slo-step along at around 70 bpm. These gentlemen are just getting started on their audio adventures, and I truly can't wait to see what the future holds for these two crafty individuals."
