Grabbel and The Final Cut

Grabbel and The Final Cut are a shoegaze / noisepop band initially active in the 1990s. They formed in Lüneburg, Germany in 1989 and frequently played in and around Hamburg the following years. With a handful of self-distributed, cassette-only releases they stayed unsigned until their demise in 1996. 15 years later the Brooklyn based Captured Tracks label found out about the band and released their proper "debut" EP in January 2012 to much critical acclaim. Grabbel and The Final Cut took this opportunity to revive the band. They are playing live again and have started working on new material for prospective releases. Finest noisepop since 1989!
