About The Officers

Matt Southall - Vocals,
Jamie Baker - Guitar,
Stuart Drinkall - Synths,
Kieran Wherrett - Guitar,
Matt Lunn - Drums,

Recently described as making music thats 'so dirty you may think you have stumbled on my bloody valentine and trent reznor in a red light district together....but still maintains the very essence of cool', the officers have already attracted excited responses after they were pushed up the bill after a soundcheck for their debut show at the Camden Barfly and were invited to play at respected club nights such as the Client hosted 'being boiled', Alan Mcgees 'Death Disco' and the now legendary Insomniacs Ball in November 2006, attracting the attention of XFM DJ & Champion Eddy Temple Morris, who described the bands home demos as 'seriously the best demo you will hear this year' as early as January 2007, featuring two tracks back to back on his Friday night Remix show.

The band are currently booking live dates around the country after recent support shows with Placebo and The Cooper Temple Clause and are recording new material with legendary Primal Scream producer and acclaimed remixer Jagz Kooner. Working titles from the raft of new songs include 'The Creeps', 'Afraid of Your Love, 'Hostage', 'Release The Hounds', 'Lookout Kid', 'Kandy', 'God Guns Guts Glory', 'Kings', 'Spiders & Lions' and 'Animal'
