Father John Misty

misty killed it at the rock, I wish he could have played an hour or two longer. New album sounds like it’s going to be a game changer for him. Love the man and his music.

Father John Misty puts on such a personal, magical, and fun show! His music is beautiful, and his voice fills the room. Everyone was in awe, including me! You can tell he believes in what he’s singing, and it’s very nice to see a artist like that. I was a fan, but now I truly am a huge supporter! Go see him, you won’t regret it. :-)

Legitimately one of the worst crowds I’ve ever been apart of. Incredibly rude even during very quiet parts of the show. Thankfully he was graceful enough to not get bogged down by it. I don’t know if it’s coming out of Covid but the loud conversations at shows lately have been a real bummer. I’ve often wondered while people would spend so much on transportation, parking, tickets, drinks, merch, dress up - all just to have loud, stupid fucking conversations. I suppose it’s indicative of the level of inequality where people have money and time to blow on something they don’t even care about, alienating actual fans from enjoying themselves. Do better Cleveland. Great performance regardless

What a brilliant performance never seen him live before.I have all his music on my phone which I listen to often.I’m 71 and all the younger people were having a wonderful time as was I. Will definitely go to see him again if I can get tickets as they sell out so fast.

As always Father John Misty never disappoints. He totally brought his A game to the Ryman. I would so love to see him again at this venue. It was pure magic the venue and his musical talent. Please come back again!!! I love you John!!! 😁😁😁

A pretty fun show. A lot of the songs are surprisingly danceable. He didn't play my favorite song of his, but it was an undeniably strong set anyways.

The show was wonderful, the place is magical! We had a great time! It was the first event I attended at the Hollywood forever cemetery. It was perfect!

The best concert I have ever been to. Truly such an amazing performance, I get goosebumps thinking about it. The energy of the crowd also made it so memorable, was so involved and so happy to share the room with FJM. This experience turned me into a bigger fan

Not only did the opening act, Suki Waterhouse, do an amazing job, but Father John Misty was at the top of his game. His set was over 90 minutes and each song was incredible.

Jade Bird opened and was absolutely amazing. Father John Misty never has & never will fail to amaze me. The band was also amazing as well as his dance moves. Jason Isbell really wowed me. Truth be told I only went to the concert for FJM, but I am definitely a huge fan of all 3 now!

It was my first time seeing him. I was confident it would be great but I wasn’t prepared for HOW great. I cried several times. It was the closest thing to a religious experience I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to see him again.

Amazing show, great venue, very cool area (try Sweet P's BBQ). King Tuff was a lot of fun too. Drove 2 hrs and 40 mins each way to see him and would do it all again!

FJM always puts on a good show, ALWAYS. His setlist was pretty damn good, and also appreciate playing fan favorites and older tunes as well as new. He’s one hilarious dude, would have been great to hear him speak a little more. It’s like his publicist said “maybe turn it down a few notches.” But his sense of humor is what’s great about his persona. He wears engaging with the audience, but far less than he usually is, as I’ve seen him several times.

So nice to see him acoustic. And it dawned on me that ma Be “I Love You Honeybear” was based on the Kurt Vonnegut novel “Mother Night” Glad I went. ❤️

Was an amazing show! He puts so much of his character on the stage and expression to the songs that the audience can’t help but feed off his passion for his music. The light effects were excellent and his band were tight and gave a great sound to the whole evening. Can’t wait for the next tour!

Great sound at the Orpheum. FJM brought his beautiful baritone, saunter, sass and snark which made for the feel-goods on many levels - to a seated audience, no less. Visuals, voice and vibrancy. I have over-used alliteration.Also, truly grateful he coyly shut down the woman in dire need of attention. Merci, Monsieur Misty.The Orpheum could definitely use another bar station or two. Insanity.

The show was a frenzy punctuated by song- Father John Misty left me speechless. Joshua Tillman is quite the showman, whipping the crowd into a baccanal excitement, compelling with his voice and every movement of his lithe frame. He played the bulk of his discography and I was thrilled to hear all of my favorite live and full of passion!

Father John Misty was awesome, but the venue was not ideal for the type of show that the band performs... assigned seating and seating in general is not the way to go. There was definitely a disconnect and lack of energy that is an important and vital part of their performance!

Fantastic concert! The band was really good, and J. Tillman was great both musically and at getting in contact with the audience. Go see them, if you have a chance.

One of the best shows I've ever attended. FJM is a true musician and entertainer. His hilariously sarcastic wit and beautifully entrancing voice are a wonderful combination to see and hear.
