***Lead vocalist Kathy having sung primarily country all her life. She's Richmond bred & a huge Elvis fan. ***Mike Souder: professional musician since 1965 grew up with music of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc. In the 70's was involved with major acts; largely with sound crew work for Todd Rundgren, George Harrison, Robbin Ford and others. Became struck with the real blues stuff in the late 90's. ***Mark Saurs: A Veteran of the Richmond blues scene, Mark started playing guitar at a young age. His playing has since spanned the gamut from standards, to Top 40, to down right 'dirty' blues. Musical influences include Eric Clapton, Foghat, Allman Brothers and "anyone else that knows how to kick up the back beat and turn it up to 11 "***Bass - Matt Martin: From Tennessee to Louisiana and now Virginia...Matt has honed his skill and sharpened his craft in the heart of the Blues Belt. Happy Hour with the Kennedy's (almost) to Happy Hour at Blues and Brews Matt is always ready to hold down the back beat and is a welcome addition to the TOUGH DEAL rhythm section. ***Drummer - Bob Saydlowski: born in Pittsfield MA and started playing drums at age 10. He was the drummer in many top bands in the Western Mass. area, including many years with the house bands at the renowned Eastover Resort. He also toured and recorded with jazz/rock guitarist Joe Beck. Bob was the original "Product Close-Up" columnist for Modern Drummer magazine for 10 years, and later, Artist Relations & Marketing Manager for Sonor Drums for six years. He has logged over 2200 gigs plus numerous recording sessions. Some of the bands he has recently played with include Forrest McDonald & The Blues Train, The English Channel, Big Ray & The Kool Kats, The Wrest, Dr. Grin, Elegance.
