Angie Ripe

Angie Ripe has spent most of her life writing & recording sunburnt summer pop song's that showcase her true trademark: infectious melodies, neon-colored lyrics, and a chorus everyone can get in on.

Ripe's latest release, "Go It Alone", is the sugary lament of a makeup-to-breakup story that keeps you wondering if you're desperately in love or desperately wishing you could bash that a-hole's windshield in all over again. Angie has always been attracted to leaning in to the dark side of the human condition and coming out on the other side with undeniably catchy, contemporary pop songs that'll last way longer than "what's-his-name".

This is an incarnation for Angie who garnered both critical and commercial success for past work. Her initial introduction to the music industry was when she was accepted into the 25-person freshman class at the elite Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University. Ripe released recordings with her band “Menya” and a subsequent solo project under the name “Angi3”. Building her craft and becoming an accomplished writer, she had placements including MTV’s Jersey Shore, NBC’s Today Show, Showtime TV series SMILF, and gained print recognition from Cosmopolitan & Blender magazine.
