Make A Change

BIO: MAKE A CHANGE is a 4 piece old school HC/Punk band from Lower Austria. The band was founded in summer 2010 by ex-members of REACH OUT and WHAT IS LEFT. After a few line-up changes the current members are Mike (bass), Luxi (vocals), Ritzi (guitar) and Gerdsch (drums). In fall 2010 the band released their first DIY-produced demo "ALWAYS SET" on tape and CD. In April 2011 the demo tape was re-released in Japan on Acashic Records (thx to Hirofumi Sakaue). In November 2011 MAKE A CHANGE recorded their record "RIGHT NOW", which was released on tape and CD at the end of 2011. In winter 2011 they also released the "FIRST SHOW LIVESET"- tape, which (surprisingly) has an original recording from their first show back in 2010 on it. At that show MAKE A CHANGE had a slightly different line-up as Ben was playing guitar in those times. As a response to their records running out of stock MAKE A CHANGE re-released both their EPs on one CD simply called “Always Set DEMO + Right Now” in April 2012. The band always tries to keep it real, think positive and to take a firm stand against any intolerance like all kinds of sexism, racism, anti-Semitism, fascism, homophobia or religious nonsense. makeachangehardcore@gmail.com
