The Shires

The Shires are the best (and nicest) UK Country Music band. Ben and Crissie come across on Stage as lovely people and they have a great relationship even though they are not partners. Their voices blend so well together. This was their "Just The Two of Us" tour which is acoustic but I'm really looking forward to a full band tour and their next album.

My Wife & I went to see the Shires at Ramsgate’s Granville theatre. Had an absolute great night. Definitely going to see them again.

I have seen The Shires a number of times and they are always fantastic! I have seen them as a suport act as well as the main act and they never disappoint. They always get the crowd involved and the atmosphere is always great. Saturday night in the Swansea Grand Theatre was a fantastic evening. Ben and Chrissie are super talented. Their songs are great and the audience were really up for it! Can't recommend The Shires highly enough. I don't think they get the recognition they deserve

Great show. Acoustic and perfect for the smaller audience. Ben and Crissy sounded amazing, as fans expect. A country duo everyone should see.

The Shires came on stage with big smiles. Ben and Chrissy delivered a beautiful set and had the Town Hall enthralled. Been with these guys for over a decade and the acoustic tour showed off the quality of their voices and their song writing. Joyous and life affirming.

Fantastic stripped back performance highlighting the vocal and songwriting talent’s of the pair. Well worth going to see in you get a chance.

Perfect setting for them at this time of the year…..

This was the first time I had seen The Shires ‘live’ and they were excellent. Great songs, great voices and great band/musicians. Will definitely see them again!

Great to hear their songs live, great energy and amazing vocals. Also Eric Pasley an amazing singer/songwriter

Great gig in a good venue. Sound was good, wasn't too packed. Comfortable. Bar is large, good options.... Support acts were amazing. Love acoustic. Kezia Gill and Eric Pasley, with thier own distinct tones. The Shires.... well, loved thier show. Engaging and show they love thier fans by the way the talk about themselves and thier lives.... Fully recommended if you like a country sound.

We had waited 2 years for The Shires to play St Davids Hall and it was worth it, every second. Their show was amazing they were on stage for 11/2 hours in which they sang 20 songs including 3 encores. 5 of their albums were represented in these songs including 5 tracks from their latest - The 10 Year Plan - two singles off the album - I see Stars my personal favourite of the night and Cut me Loose which was released last Friday. The supports, Kezia Gill and Eric Paslay were also super talented. All in all a brilliant night.

Thought they put on a good but sadly short show and did well against a muted crowd that clearly came to see the star rock it rather than the under card country it up , shame for a British band in the UK , but the tribute song for her late father appeared to resonate with a lot in the crowd ,it would certainly be nice to see them as there own act with a more responsive crowd but they certainly gave it their all

What an amazing stripped back, acoustic show Chrissy and Ben put on last night. For such a relatively small venue the sound was fantastic and they played a mix of old and new songs most with a short intro explaining the songs origin. One of the best shows I have seen them play - they just get better and better. Cannot wait for album number 4!

The Shires always put on a great show mixing classic tracks with songs from their new album, love their music, and seeing them sing it live is brilliant

The Shires never disappoint! Sound just as good live as on their records.
