Toby Lightman's pure, soulful voice has been cutting through the noise since her debut album Little Things landed on the Billboard Top 100 and earned her comparisons to Lauryn Hill, Sheryl Crow, and Norah Jones, along with TV appearances on Letterman, Conan, and CBS Morning and tours alongside Rob Thomas, Jewel, Gavin DeGraw, and Prince. As an independent artist, she has racked up over 100 song placements in film and TV, composed original songs for Sesame Street, and self-produced her 2022 album After All, cementing her commitment to expanding opportunities for women in music through partnerships with She Is the Music, Women in Music, and her role on the NY Recording Academy board.
