About The Hallway Ballers

The Hallway Ballers are a close niche group whose music, brotherhood and influence runs deep from all the sunny and shady points of the Monterey Bay. The group Itself started with a couple friends, whose common interest in the beach and music brought them together. Brothers Raphael and David Grijalva and good friend Nate Hydie began jamming wherever they could, whether freestyling over a beatboxing 40 bottle or jamming acoustic guitars and a conga drum the group of friends always strived to make good music. The Hallway Ballers took another step forward when they formed a complete band with the addition of drummer Adam Huntress whose beats put the finishing touches on a new contagious sound. Having nearly completed their second CD with fourteen original tracks, the Ballers plan to deliver their music to both old and new fans alike. Their first self-titled CD released in 2008 caught the attention in 2011 of MTV executives. Three of their original songs "Feelin' Tight, Cold Wind and Don't Stop" was featured on a MTV animation called Good Vibes, with their second CD set to be released in January 2014 titled The Way I Roll. Over the last couple of years, the band has performed for many major festivals and events throughout California such as, The Maverick Surf Competition, Moto Grand Prix of USA, Snow Boarding Grand Prix held in Mammoth, the Bay-to-Breakers, California Roots Festival and the Monterey Bay Reggae Festival to name a few. Additionally, they have shared the stage with Rebelution, The Expendables, Dirty Heads, Fish Bone, Flipsyde, Katchafire, Tribal Seeds, Fortunate Youth and many more.
