Orange Apple, what kind of a name is that?! Point taken. Even we can’t remember how we came up with this. But hey, let’s hope it caught your attention. Orange Apple is a five piece punk-rock-machine that has been around since 2007. Although clearly influenced by powerhouses as Rise Against and Blink182, they cultivate their own fresh sound with juicy lead licks, bombastic drums and serene vocals as their trademarks. OA’s song themes vary from politics to the girl next door. Two EP’s were released throughout the years. ‘Nothing To Lose’ (2012) was their debut EP containing three tracks. A live video was shot for their song ‘Protest’ at Ancienne Belgique Brussels in cooperation with Panda Productions. Their successor ‘Generation Late’ (2014) is a six track EP. Both were well received by public and media. What does the future hold in store? At the moment Orange Apple is writing new songs since their singer left at the end of 2014 to reside in Canada for a year.
