Arteless is a band that is used to moving crowds and defying musical classification. Generally described as a fusion of Rock, Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz & Blues, the band prides themselves on their eclectic sound and charismatic stage show that will leave you talking about them for days. Their EP, A Unique Blend (released 9/1/14 Labor Day) was produced by Ken Barnum (Ballyhoo, Aaron Crawford and the Badcards) and mastered by Brian Lucey (The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys) . The slamming 7 track EP hits from start to finish with the help of some great songwriting, unstoppable hooks, Robert (R&B) Burgess on guitar and neck-breakin beats from Nik Hughes on drums (Youngblood Hawke). Formed in Northern Virginia (DC Area), Arteless is fronted by two beautiful songstresses in powerful soul singer Sy, and sultry smooth Myz Rae, as well as MC Cratic who is known for his unmistakable flow and keen rhyme scheme. The instrumentalists of the band now features the transcendent dirty lead guitar skills of A-Train, Dr. Beast operating & always keepin it tight on drums, MANWICH puttin & holdin it down on the low end, and ultra-talented Tom Zama filling out the sound with keys, rhythm guitar, vocals and His nefarious brass licks.
