This hard-charging super-group rises from the ashes of San Diego punk rock music lore. In the late 80 and early 90s, the members of Godspeed McQueen were languishing through dive bars like The Crow Bar, The Velvet, Live Wire, The Alley, Pill Box, Surf & Saddle, and the Night Owl in underground bands such as Shitfaced Tattoos, GFI, 20/20 Blind, Ignorant by Default, Suckerpunch, The Bindlestiffs, Frontline, 2 Pump Chump, Beanfight, The Joe Smiths…and a bunch of other punk band you have probably never heard of. After many years, some marriages, some kids, and a few corporate careers, they’re back… playing in the same old clubs, butchering the classic punk songs that stole your virginity.
