The latest effort from Ryan Taylor is the aptly named "Grand Experiment". After spending years touring in and around Boston, MA, Ryan Taylor moved back to Atlanta, GA in 2014. The address change was a bittersweet experience returning back to his longtime home while leaving furtive musical landscape of Somerville and Cambridge behind, along with bandmates and friends. With those feelings in mind, "Grand Experiment" is the first release to appear under the songwriter's name (without the band). Taylor played all the instruments and sang all the vocals making it truly a personal expression of his shifting life. Raised on the acoustic side of Americana; banjo, mandolin, guitar, upright bass and strong vocal harmonies all support positive music and great songs.
