About Echofela

Echofela were a band from Falkirk, hotly tipped as one of Scotland's brightest new acts, are determined to make their unique sound of indie/pop accessible to all. They've shared stages with artists such as The Zutons, Heather Small, The Dykeenies, their music playlisted on BBC Radio, a track used in a movie soundtrack & had airplay on Radio Stations in America, and recently had their song 'Girls Girls Ladies' played on National TV show 'HOLLYOAKS' on Channel 4 on 3 different episodes. Their shows have seen them play to audiences the length and breadth of the country and beyond and they are one of Scotland's hardest working bands. However in March 2013 it came to an end. They tried everything to reach their goal but never quite caught the break they needed. Though the 7 years of Echofela has brought amazing shows, music the band were proud of and something to look back in years to come with their heads held high. "The Presence of U2 with the drive of Coldplay!" - STEFAN BOOTH, ACTOR( Hollyoaks, The Bill) "One of Scotlands finest new bands...simply stunning!" - JIM GELLATLY, BBC RADIO SCOTLAND "One of the best acts to emerge from our shores" - RICK FULTON, DAILY RECORD "Echofela are the freshest slice of indie pop you could ask for. Their music is exciting, original and infectious and gets you dancing everytime you hear it" - SARAH MOYES, CENTRAL FM RADIO "Songs as catchy as the common cold!" - JAMES TRIMBLE, FALKIRK HERALD "It normally takes me 30 seconds to know if i like a piece of music....with Echofela it took me 10 seconds! - JOHN SLATER, CENTRAL FM RADIO "Infectiously catchy indie pop that has everyone and I mean everyone singing after 1 listen" – ROSS COUTTS, THE GAP RADIO Indie/Pop/Rock band from Scotland.
