Emery

Just about everything was perfect. The venue was well-run and the staff were courteous and experienced. The area around the stage was spacious for a small venue and the air conditioning worked really well. I have few complaints, all of which are tied to the headliners, Emery. Their performance and the performances of FLAKE and '68 were all excellent. All three bands make great music and are great performers. I just felt like having to buy a separate GA ticket from the VIP package was too much, especially considering that there wasn't a ton in the VIP package to begin with and the band forgot one of the items that was promised in the package. My only other complaint is that Emery didn't play anything from their In Shallow Seas We Sail album, but I kind of expected it as this tour is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of their second album, The Question. Complaints aside, it was the first concert I'd been to in 7 years and it was a really great time.

Such a great show! I've seen them 5 times within the last year and each time gets better! However, it was my first time seeing Scary Kids Scaring Kids and they were AMAZING!

The worst place for the quality of the bands. The portable toilets are disgusting. The place flooded due to rain and access started 2 hours late. Emery offered an incredible show, full of energy and connection with the people. Place: failed. Bands: 100%.

This is my third time seeing Emery. I saw them around the early 2010s and have been a fan since around 2006. But I think this was my favorite show yet despite it being one of the smallest - or perhaps because it was the smallest. These guys just get better with age. I was able to talk to Toby briefly and even get an autograph, so that was cool. They put on such an amazing show. I'm currently a Vocals Music Student, so it was super inspiring to see such incredible and solid vocals and the whole show was so fun and stress relieving. It was super intimate, and they showed what professionals they are in coping with some of the technical issues that popped up. And the opener, Strawberry Girls was incredible and got the crowd going wild. Me and my friend definitely found a new vibe band. I can't recommend the show enough. Also Josh is just as wild as I remember, and is definitely cool as hell. He was able to even stand up somehow while crowdsurfing? Just an ideal, perfect experience. I wish I could see Emery perform more often, but I know they're doing their best to come see all their fans. I'm just glad to see them again after so long and finally get to talk to them. I'll definitely try to support them more through Emeryland after this. The venue was actually pretty decent all things considered. The bartender was cool, drink options good, price reasonable. And they had cool couches we could relax on. Everything was orderly and smooth, so no complaints here!

They have aged well, sounded really good. Haven’t seen them since the first album when they opened for gym class heroes on their first album in Jax at Jack rabbits.

Incredible show. They played Concussion and I nearly took it literal. The energy of that song is incredible and it was amazing to see it live. They were absolutely fantastic. Every band. Norma jean slayyyed

Emery never fails to deliver a great show, no matter the size of the venue. They brought the nostalgia and the new songs killed, too. When the guys came out to finish Say This Sooner with Aaron, literally got chills. So sick. Definitely will be seeing them again next time they're in SC.

Had an awesome time. This definitely raised the nostalgic hairs on my arms. I can’t wait for the next digital experience. Seeing you guys together in a more raw environment just jamming without some of the pressure maybe touring could bring is great. Of course I still like to see you guys and hang out but I appreciate you making content for the fans that’s accessible anywhere. I’m a new dad so having the ability to chill at home and interact via the discord and live hangouts and just listen and discuss music and your creative process, goals and future projects is dope. I heard studying politics on a mixed CD in my best friends beat up Toyota Camry when The Question first came out and I had him take me to get a copy. First CD I ever bought and still to this day my favorite band. Much love Fellas!

One of the best shows I’ve been to. Been wanting to see this band for years. Finally found a show within reasonable distance. 10 Stars.

Emery and Mae were amazing! I wish it was the whole Classic Crime Band although he was great. I was a little disappointed Aaron Gillespie was not there. I bought tickets, a hotel room and traveled to see them all.

I went to see my favorite band, He Is Legend. I haven’t seen Emery in about 9 years. I was really into them in college. In fact, they were my favorite band at the time. So I got to see my current favorite band open up for my former favorite band. Pretty cool. What was also cool was seeing all the kids at the show into the same band I was into at their age. And despite the gray hair, they put on just as great of a show as I’ve ever seen! This may have renewed my love of Emery.

I truly can’t say enough good things. I have loved this band for a long time and thrilled to finally have the chance to see them live. If it wasn’t for a prior engagement that I could not cancel I would have been at the Brooklyn show in a heartbeat. They are all truly amazing and talented musicians with beautiful voices. I pray that they come back to NJ/NY again in the near future. Their new songs are fantastic, but I would have loved to hear more songs from the Question but that’s just me showing my age and being selfish. The show was outstanding. I was in Teaneck, not Brooklyn.

It really was a fan appreciation night, the set list was amazing! I never thought I would hear a few of those songs live. If you're a fan, you have to go!

The venue sucks. To much clutter in the way of the stage. Could barely see any of the acts very bad floor plan. Bartenders were very slow and rude. Had to watch a band I wanted to see now for 10 years now from the side of the stage very disappointing .

I love the show. Despite some of the technical difficulties with the equipment I still enjoyed the show. Emery - Walls highlight of the night for me.

It was great! They played all their good songs and had some really good openers. My only complaint is that the Emery themselves only performed for about 45 minutes.

Other than getting hit in the face. It was worth the jaw ache in the morning. First time seeing them and I've been a fan for 8 years. Very impressed with the live performance.

Peace Mercutio, This Wlid Life, and Emery were all awesome. The acoustic set was really cool, but the first band that played, Project 94 or whatever, they just did not fit in at all. Way too hardcore for an acoustic pop punk set

They could've played a few more tracks off The Question or other albums, but glad they actually played the entire debut album. Definitely gave me chills seeing them again after so many years.

It was so amazing seeing emery for the second time. True musicians that are so passionate about their music and connecting with their fans is incredible. Also, seeing Devin back with the band on this tour was just so right. He did a fantastic job and I could not have asked for a better show! The opening bands were also so great. Thank you to everyone who played and made it such a memorable show.
