Il 36enne Luca Dorigo è da tempo uno dei più quotati celebrity dj italiani. I suoi set sono caratterizzati da un’energia coinvolgente e da esaltanti sonorità house. Quando è in console, ha in testa soprattutto una cosa: far saltare la gente, con le hit del momento e pure con musica innovativa. Usa tre lettori cd e spesso fa dei numeri niente male… ma ama anche lasciar ‘respirare’ le tracce, come si usa all’estero. “Credo che prima o poi passerò al computer, che permette di creare musica live, ma mi piace anche il rito del cercare il disco…”, racconta. Il suo passato in tv è arcinoto, visto che per anni ha partecipato ai più importanti programmi e reality show di Rai e Mediaset. Non tutti invece sanno che Luca aveva già l’idea di sfruttare la notorietà come trampolino di lancio per la sua più grande passione, la musica e la console. “Sono sempre andato in discoteca per la musica, non per tutto il resto che è solo un contorno o una conseguenza”. Luca è arrivato in console dopo una vita in mezzo alla gente. A 20 anni aveva un lavoro d’ufficio che gli rendeva molto bene, ma non gli bastava. Voleva divertire e contemporaneamente divertirsi. E così dopo un’estate di break passata a fare il bagnino a Jesolo (Ve), la sua città, è partito per la California, per un viaggio base di feste e surf che in breve tempo si è trasformato in una scelta di vita. “Ho lavorato a lungo in bar e ristoranti di ottimo livello e ho fatto esperienze che mi servono ancora oggi quando sono in console”, racconta. Nel corso del 2012 arriveranno anche nuove produzioni discografiche, a cui Luca sta lavorando con intensità ma senza troppe pressioni ed arriveranno pure alcuni ruoli importanti al cinema. Dalla sua esperienza negli Usa Luca ha capito che un artista può anche fare cose diverse, l’importante è che si prepari al meglio e lavori duramente, proprio come nello sport (un’altra delle sue grandi passioni). Una cosa è certa. Fare il dj, per Luca, non è solo un mestiere. “Non so se come lavoro tra 10 anni metterò ancora i dischi “, spiega. “Ma sono certo che continuerò a farlo per i miei amici, per la mia famiglia… perché la passione per la musica è troppo forte”. 36 years old Luca Dorigo has been one of the most requested italian celerity dj's for a long time. He plays engaging house music and his dj sets are full of energy. When he's in the booth, he's focused on one thing: making them all jump, with the latest hits and even with innovative music. Luca uses 3 cd players and does some tricky stuff, but he loves to let the tracks 'breath' too, as it happens in the best clubs of the world. He says: "I think that sooner or later I'll begin to use computer, it will let me create live music in the booth. But I love the dj's ritual of searching for the right record". His tv background is well know in Italy, as ha took part for years to some of the most important broadcasts and reality shows. Not everyone instead knows that Luca already had the idea to take advantage of his fame to launch himself into his greatest passions, music and djing. He says: "I've always gone clubbing for the music. All the other things are only a consequence". Luca has arrived in the booth after mixing with people for a lifetime. At 20 years old, he had a well paid office job, but for him it wasn't enough. He wanted to have have fun by making other people have fun. So, after a summer spent as a lifeguard in Jesolo, near Venezia, his hometown, he left for California, for an experience of surfing and parties that soon became a way of life. He says: "I've been working for a long time in high level bars and restaurants, having experiences which event today help me when I'm in the booth". During 2012 we will see new records, where Luca has been working hard but without pressure and there will also be important roles in films. From his experience in the Usa, Luca learned that an artist can do many different things, but he has to work hard to be well prepared. Just like in sports, a big passion for him. One thing's for sure, for him being a dj isn't just work. He says: "I don't know if in ten years time I'll still be djing in clubs.
