„Enter my being and fertilize me to breed thy dark euphoria.“ (Beyond The Setting Sun –Deceit) Beyond The Setting Sun is a six-piece modern metal outfit reaching out from Leipzig, Germany, to share their concept of music, that is defined by dynamics and the aesthetics of roughness.Travelling between intensity and silence, complexity and plainness, groove and atmosphere, the band wants to explore musical landscapes. Founded in 2010, Beyond The Setting Sun started their journey as a five-piece band with the simple ambition to create and perform. By releasing the debut EP Parted Skies in 2011, the band arrived at a first destination, being able to present their music to a wider audience throughout the internet.Departing from there, the creation of more complex and layered material led Beyond The Setting Sun to their first label deal with Bruised&Broken Records alongside the release of their first full length record The Villain in 2014. The Album, being a concept work both lyrically and musically, manifests everything Beyond The Setting Sun is about. Taking care of theirself imposed claim to always being able to perform live what is presented on the record, the band decided to carry on as a six-piece outfit by adding a third guitarist to the line-up in early 2015. Continuing the journey, Beyond The Setting Sun is now on their way to release what will be their second album in 2016, which will be called The Archimedean Point.
