Kaki King

Kaki was brilliant as ever and fully engaged with the audience, a charming venue that allows one to get close to the artist and enjoy the performance. Kali's playing was sublime and shows her artistry at its best. Very much looking forward to her coming back to play in London, two years was too long.

Higher Ground is a rather dull space, acoustically speaking, but the performance by VSO Jukebox quartet and Kaki King was superb.

Beautiful show, I’ve been seeing Kaki live since circa 2004, and she keeps reinventing herself while staying true to her art and talent. I loved the visuals and sensory elements with her Modern Yesterdays experience. Felt great to have an intimate show with her, the audience, and her visual producer Atti.

Visuals and special effects were cool, although they were distracting and seemed to almost detract from the music at times. Very artistically different than what you'd typically expect of "concert" though.

Well worth going but her newer music is very different from her previous work (I prefer her older music). The performance part of the show was really cool, and provided a visual representation of the music.
