About Sandy Stones Music
Sandy Stones started her musical journey as a Singer-Songwriter, playing the bars on Bleecker Street in NYC with nothing more than her voice and an acoustic guitar.
In 2011, she met Bassist/Guitarist/Singer, Paul Del Corral (Paulie) and everything changed. Their musical connection was evident immediately from the way their voices effortlessly floated together in harmony.
Since this pairing, Sandy Stones Music has had many iterations. First up, was Sandy Stones & Common Ground, a 5-piece band playing Sandy's original music. After about 2 years and one too many NYC parking tickets, the band parted ways, but Paulie and Sandy wanted to continue making music together.
In 2013, they added a drummer and formed The Sandy Stones Trio, an acoustic project covering a mix of classic and contemporary favorites across all genres and decades.
Although still performing as the Trio, they can also flex from an Acoustic Duo up to a full (4-piece) Band to fit any occasion. Who knows... you might even catch Sandy getting back to her Singer-Songwriter roots at a Solo show every now and then.
Regardless, Sandy's live shows are known for a wide-ranging setlist, flawless harmonies and her ability to bring a singer-songwriter level of engagement and story-telling to a cover band atmosphere.
