Kathy Mattea

Her show was outstanding. She was charming and very entertaining. Her band consists of three wonderful musicians who gel perfectly with Kathy. One of my favorite concerts.

The Show was GREAT. No Drummer Needed as the Skilled Backing Musicians blend in with her. Even though Kathy Mattea didn't play my personal Favorite of her recordings, she didn't disappoint. She is another artist that interacts with the audience and connects with her Fans, (such as James Taylor, John Hiatt) telling how the songs came to exist & the inspiration they bring to others as well. I just wished that I had the opportunity to speak to her before or afterwards, wish her a Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY. But I hope to in the future. (maybe if I would wear my Red Nose, she would play "Clown in Your Rodeo" for me, & the rest of us who love that upbeat driving song) Memorial Hall OTR is a Great Venue for Artist to perform. I've been here multiple times due to Reasonable Ticket Prices along with Reasonable Pricing on Parking in the Washington Park Garage just across the street, which is advertised of being monitored by both the garage Office & the Cincinnati Police Dept's Emergency Operations Center.

My girl friend is a huge C&W fan with many friends and connections to Nashville and has opened a wonderful new world of music for me. I surprised her with tickets for her birthday to Kathy’s Spire Center concert last night. It was an amazing concert, especially in this intimate venue. We hung around after the show and she came out to mingle with the few of us who hung around. She was able to talk to Kathy as they have mutual Nashville friends and hopefully made this evening a memorable night. Many thanks to Kathy🤗

Loved seeing Kathy Mattea performing with her excellent band. Her voice was still as put as I remember it back in the 90’s and she was very funny with some great stories and banter with the audience. Seeing her in such an intimate and beautiful theatre was really special and brought back a lot of memories from my youth listening to her music from living in Coventry/Liverpool(UK) and Donegal/Antrim(Ireland)🇮🇪🎶🎶

Your show was just AMAZING. The fiddle/mandalin player and Bass players were the best. We'd love to see you return with Suzy B one day. Best wishes for a relaxing time in MINN.

My first time seeing Kathy though I've loved her music for over 30 years. Quite magical and a beautiful show. Hope to be able to see her again in her upcoming tour out East!

A fantastic evening listening to great music and engaging stories about the songs. Each song was better than the previous one, and she ended the show with '4*5 Rocket' and a solo encore of 'Turn Off The News (And Build A Garden)'. The only downer was that 'Green Side Of The Grass' will not be released yet, so I guess that I’ll just have to see her again since it's a wonderful song that speaks to the heart, like most of her music!

Excellent show. Kathy is well suited to MC this gig. The highlight for me was Rambling Jack Elliott! His lyric phrasing, amazing... those vocal cords still stretching, sliding and nailing the pitch... and what he can do with a guitar, really cool. All the artists were tight, authentic and appreciative of their support by Diablo Arts Foundation and the beautiful Lesher Theater.

What a wonderful night! Kathy Mattea was fantastic. She played a nice mix of favorites, new songs and a few cover songs. She and her bandmates (Fred and Eric) played together beautifully. It was an intimate setting and just an all-around wonderful way to spend the evening. My kids grew up listening to Kathy Mattea at home and in the car and it brought back many happy memories. We were happy to be able to see her again after many years.

Kathy Mattea was fabulous as usual. I love the way she relates to the audience. You feel like she is your friend and really cares about you. Her voice is wonderful and she played some terrific new songs. It was the first time I have been in the SHU CommunityTheatre since it was done over and I was pleasantly surprised. It is a beautiful venue

Wonderful concert - I have been following Kathy for many years and the quality of her voice and the additional musicians were excellent. She is working on some new songs and I can't wait for them to get released.

This was my first visit to this venue, in Rockport, MA and I loved the place. The size of the hall is perfect and the acoustics were great. Kathy Mattea and her two band mates were fantastic. I've enjoyed her music for almost 30 years. Her talent both as a guitarist and vocalist, along with the connection to her audience is amazing. If you love live music, with talented musicians, Kathy and her band is a MUST SEE and the Shalin Liu Performance Center is a wonderful place to enjoy a performance.

The Shalin Liu Performance Center is amazing and was the perfect venue for an evening of equally amazing music. And what a wonderful show. An evening of music and stories that will not soon be forgotten.

My wife and I both thought Suzie Bogus' voice was as strong as when she was popular, though not so with Kathy. I think she may have had a cold or allergies. At any rate, we enjoyed the evening.

The Concert was a dream come true . TAL Tour performance of Kathy Mattea and Suzy Bogguss was something I looked forward to for many years. My two favorite musicians singing together was Wonderful!! 🎵✨🎵✨

Amazing! Loved the venue, and loved the show. Kathy and Suzy were both excellent. They played all their hits and their chemistry on stage was so fun to watch. Very entertaining. Would love to do it all again.

Interesting that the venue was held at a castle but the concert was in a big tent on the grounds. (?) Kathy was excellent, beautiful voice, great musician. Her music is timeless and nice job with updated arrangements. Her latest her Pretty Bird cd is must listen. Playful, heartwarming, and my newest favorite

It was good. She sounded great. She spoke often and shared herself with the audience. The band was excellent. Would do it again.

Kathy Mattea was truly awesome. Her voice was magical. She stayed afterwards and signed autographs. We also got pictures with her. She was very grateful. We were definitely honored by her performance and her taking her time to talk to those who paid to see her.
