"Galant DJ" Bio Luís Galante a.k.a. Galant DJ is a, 1983 born, Portuguese DJ from Oporto. Galant DJ always had a strong musical environment since he has a pianist aunt and lyric singers in his family. His interest in House Music began at the age of 16, when he bought his first record and got introduced to the house music world by his friend Dj François (who played at Locomia and currently can be listened at Kadoc). He started his career as DJ Lui-G in 2001, gaining experience in local bars. His first experience as a professional dj, during May 2003, took place at DUX, one of the fewest house music disco's in FARO which received dj's like BRUNO MARCIANO, Carlos Manaça, Nuno Clam, rising dj's like Pedro Tabuada, Dj Pete tha Zouk & Dj King Bizz (these last two with monthly residencies). Now at the age of 25 he has been a freelancer for almost 4 years, djing all over Portugal, finishing his Law Degree at the same time. Starting from small local clubs, having played in one of the most acknowledged venue in Faro (Algarve) during summer 2004 (Muralhas de Faro), Kadoc (Vilamoura), Trigonometria (Quinta do Lago), Mitto (Albufeira), Vogue (Porto), Via Rapida (Porto), Pacha (Ofir), Park Club (Vizela), BBC (Lisboa) just to name a few. While the world-famous clubs "Nikki Beach" were in Portugal (2007-2010) he was always your resident DJ... Now is the resident dj of the Puro Beach Vilamoura in Portugal. Since 2009 has the dual "THE LOBBIES" (https://www.facebook.com/thelobbies) with Portuguese dj Bruno Marciano having released the single "Life Is On" recently ...
