The Tea Party

The show itself was good, the venue wasn’t really suited to the type of gig though. Much more suited to an acoustic style set. Wasn’t a fan of the U2 cover either. Tea Party have so many great songs, just focus on that in future! Been to so many of their gigs over the years, and personally, I think the smaller more intimate ones have been better.

My first concert Ever and I wasn’t ready for how amazing it was going to be! Couldn’t help but smile and dance! It’s rare to hear vocals in person and it be way better than anything recorded! Thank you for coming to the east coast (so often forgotten!)! Can’t wait to see you again!

Choix de tounes classiques. Je n'ai presque rien compris a ce que Jeff mentionnait entre les chansons car la foule parlait pas mal et ne semblait pas vouloir l'écouter. Bref pas aussi magique que des shows passés. Personnellement j'ai trouvé que la performance s'est améliorée a mesure que le show avançait

ALWAYS a rockin' concert! I go every time they're in town. Such an entertainer, engages the crowd to sing, funny stories and the artistic blending of songs - freakin LOVE you guys! The Commodore is my favourite venue. Please never stop performing (here).

Best I've seen them to date!! The band has such a casual tightness that collects all the elements of each song and sends awesome sound to the audience seamlessly. A must see for all Tea Party fans!

Was a truly special night. They had the crowd hanging on every note. They rocked as hard as they did in their hayday. Good job, and see you next time around!

Great sound, they put on a fantastic show! Not a bad seat in the place. Played all their hits and did a bunch of covers. Had an awesome time, superior Canadian band!

The last time I saw these guys was 19 years ago. I loved that they played the old favorites with some of their new ones. Seeing them live will not disappoint.

They are even better now than ever. The stories shared were heartfelt, and insightful. The music on point. Amazing. If you have not caught a show, don't miss your chance

The band was quite brilliant but the sound really needs to be looked at. The vocals were overpowered by the music it was very difficult to hear it. Also, there was always sounds of electric static, like there was a loose jack or wire.

I have been a Tea Party fan for years and have seen them in concert a few times. I had high expectations and they didn't disappoint. Transmission 20 years later is as good as it was then and I still listen to it regularly. The venue was good and the sound was good. Only in some cases did the bass (from the keyboards) cause some distortion (minor but annoying when it happened). I highly recommend seeing this band if you never have. Great musicians and great songs. Would definitely go again (hoping the hint of Bluesfest this summer comes true).

Great show... the opening act The Road Heavy were amazing and The Tea Party outstanding. What a talented artist Jeff Martin is and though he struggled with his voice near the end he never gave up the show and his voice is awesome.

perfection. tea and symphony was everything I had hoped for and more. the perfect union of the tea party's unique sound and the brilliance of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra - I can only hope that they were recording it for a new release.

it was ok, but didn't rouse any emotion. instrumentally great, as you'd expect, but the band was not connected to the crowd. it felt forced, it felt like they were going through the motions..

Incredible performance! This band never disappoints! Despite a few technical issues with Martin's setup, all of them were in top form. Great mix of their new and old stuff, and their use of combined songs was a great addition.

Amazing! So good! Opening band Pigeon Park rocked the house and The Tea Party, in grand fashion, made that little stage seem like a Festival Venue! So much good music, so much good energy, seriously a 5 star show!

Very good show; they played the classics from 'Edge of Twilight', as well as a couple new ones. Jeff unfortunately list his voice about 2/3 of the way through, abd the band had had to play through using less operatic numbers. All in all, solid performance.

Epic. These guys are gods that enhance and awaken every portion of your body and soul with their rockin' sounds. Mr Martin's voice eats into every cavity in a way that tingles your spine and sparks the feeling of pleasure and devious thoughts. Mr Chatwood keeps everything flowing and his passion shines though with every precise movement. Mr Burrows, drum extraordinaire with an unstoppable beat and a rhythm to envy. A lot of new tracks, some fave classics and a few sneaky obscure bits and pieces. I highly recommended Soundcheck / VIP as the pleasure and excitement of actually shaking hands with these legends will stay with you forever (and let's face it.. who doesn't want to put their arm around Jeff Martin).

Absolutely blown away, great energy, great performance, these guys have great chemistry with each other and the audience. Been in love with this band for over 20 years, saw them over 6 times together they never disappoint. They prove that rock is not dead!

Great concert. Highly recommend for all Tea Party fans. Three brilliant musicians doing what they love. They played a handful of songs from their new album and many of they old classics.
