Fantastic❤️ Kat Edmonson was extremely engaging and covered a wide range of songs, including original songs of hers. Peter Calo, guitarist and singer, accompanied her entire repertoire, and was extraordinary, as always. Kat and Peter have wonderful chemistry on stage. All in all, a totally entertaining evening❤️

Thank you Kat for a wonderful evening. Your voice and vocal presence brought me to tears, some of joy and others of sadness. I was very sorry to learn of your mother's passing. Your love for her was evident, in your stories and your songs. May you be blessed with continued success with your music. And as for your mom, look to the second star to the right.....

Kat is incredibly. I, quite literally, cannot recommend seeing her highly enough. Go. You'll love her too. She's magical.

Kat was awesome! She has a unique singing style that is mesmerizing while it is exhilarating. One moment she’s in jazz mode, the next classic 50’s, then blues. The hour and a half went by much too quickly. Lastly, her backup quartet was very talented with kudos to the guitar player.

Nice venue, free parking and easy to get to. Kat and her group were excellent as usual. Very festive and fun. Wish I had a hula hoop to give her.

Kat Edmonson is one of a kind. She has a distinctive voice perfect for the jazzy music she mostly sings. She can switch from sultry and romantic to lively and funny in a heartbeat. She is entertaining, fun, adorable, and works hard to give everything she's got. She is another Houston born entertainer who does our city proud. Kat is super!

An amazing evening with Kat Edmonson and the four members of the band she works with. Beyond great vocal and composing talents is a person who has a presence that reaches out and touches you. Her introductions and comments about songs as well as heartfelt comments about life really pulled you into her music. She has four great guys that she works with that are all excellent musicians. They are a group that seamlessly creates great music and clearly have fun doing so together. They were delightful to watch as they either supported Kat's vocals or handled solo sections. We have many of Kat's recordings but seeing her live with her band for the first time was an experience far better than recordings can capture. We appreciated that she did not build a program around her most recent recordings but instead reached out into her past and included a very broad selection of music as well as holiday music. At one point she asked if anyone had a favorite to hear. While I did not sense anyone responded, she went on to perform "Lucky" which is one of my favorite songs from her "Way Down Low" release. It was as if she had read my mind.

Kat was lovely and brought a beautiful performance. The band was fantastic and the venue intimate. Great set and show. Definitely recommend her band wherever they might be playing.

We were at the 7PM show and enjoyed it very much. It was good to see Kat in Roanoke again and we hope she returns. If at all possible we will be there. She was delightful as ever and Roy Dunlap her pianist was absolutely superb. The show was more simple and intimate than the first show at the Jefferson Center about two years ago. The first time we saw her she was accompanied by her regular quartet. This time it was just Kat and Roy. This really worked well for Kat and reminded me of the Sunday night Kat Edmonson Show that helped to get us all through the dark days of the pandemic. Kat is a breath of fresh air in the music world. She doesn't need fancy lights and pyrotechnics. Her very presents light up the room and her talent is truly a gift to all of us. My only regret was that I didn't get to talk to har after the show as I did last time. The show was sold out and the crowd simply too big trying to get their CDs autographed and I knew she had another show to do. All in all it was a great show.

So amazing! Love being able to see Kat in her element and sharing her charismatic style!! Great hour to relax and be a part of Kat’s smooth style!

The theatre was dimmed, the instruments and microphones silently awaiting their artists. The Ritz, a survivor from the largely vanished LaVilla neighborhood once known as the “Harlem of the South,” was transformed for the night into a cocktail lounge with tables arrayed on the stage itself, our presence as the audience seemingly a part of a performance reliving the district’s heyday. Kat Edmonson took the stage, her voice filling the intimate space with the wistful and uncynical joy of her vintage songs. Her sound has always been uniquely beautiful among modern singers, but the intimacy of the venue—and perhaps the echoes of the performers of past times preceding her in this particular place—brought a transcendent resonance to the music that imbued the room with energy that couldn’t be contained.

Awesome! Kat and her band put on a very personal performance. She is a very real person who loves her fans.
