The Tribal Blues Band

From the swamplands of the Bay Area, comes The Tribal Blues and Funk Band; A nine piece power funk and electric blues band featuring a four piece horn section. Keeping their mojo workin' since 2007, The Tribal Blues and Funk Band is East Bay Grease mixed in with some Muscle Shoals. The band has performed in some of the Bay Area's largest festivals, most famous venues, such as Angelica's, The Great American Music Hall, Slim's as well as, the diviest bar ;). Their repertoire runs the gamut of Funk, Blues and Rock n' Roll.

The Tribal Blues and Funk Band performs originals, as well as covers songs from Tower Of Power, Greyboy Allstars, Marcus Miller, Joe Bonamassa, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Al Green, Rolling Stones, Chicago, Sly and The Family Stone and other great artists.

The Tribal Blues and Funk Band is Raya Zion on vocals, Dave Christian on guitar, Marty Izenson on sax, Sam Herzberg on drums, Eric Goodwill on bass, John Escalera on trumpet, Ravi Sahae on trombone, Gary Zimmerman on sax, Jeff Eaton on trumpet and Jim Williams on keyboards.
