About Propolis
Propolis started as the collaboration of Lucas and Hannah Hubbard. Beginning their partnership in 2016, the two drew influence from the DIY ethics and motivations of folk punk bands like Defiance Ohio. Now, the band includes fiddle, drums, bass, and acoustic guitar. While the sonic qualities of their music have evolved over time, shirking the folk punk sound for a more alternative folk (y'allternative) sound. However, the band continues to explore themes of dissatisfaction and longing.
