Dan Tyminski

This was a fantastic show. It was postponed a week due to winter weather but the band more than made up for it in the show. They were very talented, and Dan is very entertaining and personable on stage. I hope they come back soon!

Wow, what a show!! Wish we could’ve listened for two more hours!

Dan and band were fantastic! Chapman Cultural Center is an awesome venue. Very personable! There’s not a bad seat in the house. Dan even came out to the lobby after the show for pictures and autographs. This is truly how concerts should be. Thanks for a great night!!!

Dan and Gaven put on a fantastic show. They were warm, funny, and conversational. The music was a 12 out of 10. One of the best shows I've ever seen. The 90 minutes flew by, as they made it feel like we were all just sitting in a living room getting to know one another. After the show, Dan signed autographs and spent time with anyone who wanted to meet him.

Excellent Show! Extremally talented artist in a beautiful intimate venue. Dan interacted with the audience throughout and I had the pleasure of meeting him after the show. Very little material from the Union Station era, but solo work is solid and very enjoyable. Gaven Largent accompanied him on Dobro and acoustic guitar throughout the show and he is an incredible talent. Very happy I decided to attend.

The show was fantastic!!! This was the second time I'd seen him outside of Union Station; the first was at the Caverns while supporting Southern Gothic. The band was new but seemed to be on his time so things went as they did, they moved right along with him and to me it was seemless. He was very personable as well; this venue offers the opportunity to meet and greet the artists and he came out after the show and and spent time with each and every one that stayed after and wished to to do so. That to me is the sign of true artistic class, humility and appreciation. All things came into alignment on this night in Walhalla, SC. and I am so blessed to have been there to witness it.

The whole gang has excellent playing skills. 2nd time in the last 1-1/2 months I’ve seen them. Dan has selected some of the best musicians out there. I play the upright bass so I was somewhat partial to their bass player, Grace who didn’t miss a beat. Maddie was awesome on the fiddle. Harry plays the mandolin like nobody’s business. Jason was super on the banjo. Not the least, Gaven owns the dobro playing. Great job!

LOVED the concert! Great venue, great sound. The only two things that would have made it better, IMHO, was a different opening act and if Maddie had sung a solo. She's got a great voice and harmonizes nicely but she also has the pipes to sing solo. Thanks for a lovely, fun evening! Donna Maddie's cousin! ;-)

Absolutely a wonderful performance! The band has such energy! They sound just as good in person, if not better, than they do on record!

Outstanding! The band was fantastic, exceptional musicians. Dan was fantastic as usual. I told him nothing could be as good as the wheels album he said oh yes it can because of his new band..... he was right!!!

Great concert in a wonderful venue. Serene Green is a talented up and coming local group that provided a delightful opening for the Dan Tyminski Band Dan sounds as good in person as he does on his CDs. He has surrounded himself with a cadre of exceptionally talented musicians that provide great multi-part vocals and exceptionally tight instrumentals. Wonderfully enjoyable and highly recommended.

Great performance by Dan and the band. They played for an hour and a half straight without a break. Amazing talent in that band. Wonderful acoustics, not a bad seat in the house.

Second time at the Birchmere, very intimate venue with great decorations of past artists and an intimate distance from the stage. Dan and his band were incredibly talented and had great chemistry among themselves and with the crowd. I got to meet Dan and a couple of his band members briefly after the show and they were friendly. I would love to see them again!

As usual, Dan and Band did NOT disappoint! Had a wonderful time and lots of toe tapping great music.

Wow, just WOW!! This concert was AWESOME!! Dan did not disappoint! He rocked the Mother Church!! Him and his Band put on such a good show. I'd go again in a heartbeat.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Dan Tyminski concert. It was energetic and upbeat. I love his voice, perfect for bluegrass songs with an old timey feel. He sang new songs and old ones. I am sure I will get his new CD when it is available. I admire him for staying after the show to meet and greet his fans, one-on-one. He had lots of items for sale at his table but purchase wasn't necessary to meet him and get a pic taken with him.

The band was fabulous!! I highly recommend catching them anytime they play near your town. It was a great night at the Ryman. I'd love to see them play again!
