About Hostages For Smack

HFS formed and split in 2004 / 5, with one controversial gig and a 19 track album that was finished in there dying days. The band parted ways to work on other projects. HFS were called upon to play a one off gig at Balstock 2011, a charity event held in Baldock, Hertfordshire. Since then the band have decided to continue where they left off, with a hand full of up and coming shows and a new album entitled 'Britannia Bleeding', released in March 2013, HFS look to battle the music scene yet again in the name of punk. At the beginning of 2013 HFS suffered the loss of their lead vocalist due to personal reasons. Despite this HFS decided to continue as a threesome and are continuously writing, recording and gigging! HFS have played with some great local/unsigned bands live such as well as some of the best heavy hitters on the scene! HFS hav'nt just annoyed the UK but have also had the opportunity to polute the ears of punks overseas, playing with some amazing talent! HFS have also had tracks feature on videos for USA extreme sports crew, Green Mountain Rippers. Check them out on Youtube. Punk as fuck! With no sub-genre!
